As a part of Connect program will be organised an international conference in order to discuss on high level event which connects a unique regional network of practitioners in amateur arts, policy-makers, media and international donors, united to create together real change in the culture, art and civil society fields.
International Conference: “Civil Society Organisations and creative
industries – creating new perspectives”
Date and time: 15th of March, 2019, at 10.00 – 14.00
Place: Vaba Lava Theater Centre, Narva, Estonia
Participants: 120 participants (up to 85 international participants from Europe and 35 from Estonia, (High guests from International institutions, Ministries, Embassies, Partners, Students, interested organisations and Local NGOs leaders, Networks and business representatives).
Official languages: Estonian and English.
The main language of conference will be english, but translation will be provided on Estonian language.
Components of the Conference
The conference includes:
– Opening speeches by honorable guests from Estonia and Amateo network
– Three key note speeches by three international experts in the field of amateur arts, creative industry and civil society as well as international cooperation and engagement of NGOs and government institutions. The aim is to introduce the themes to all participants (as the conference is open to all, not just for Amateo network) and further elaborate on the continued relevance of these themes.
– Panel discussions including representatives of many different cultural backgrounds that highlights the usefulness of creating a comparative perspective, being open to ideas from other cultures and finding common goals.
